Censorship is Our Greatest Threat

Now, many would say Trump is our greatest threat. The President who lowered unemployment to record levels, brought jobs back to millions of Americans, specifically people of color, achieved a 33% GDP increase — an achievement not seen in 50 years, increased the stock market by over 14,000 points (you read that correctly), set up programs to release people of color from jail and rehab back into society, and the list goes on. For many, this list is short, but for many this list is infuriating because it doesn’t fit the narrative.

I digress from the facts.

Censorship is intended to shut down voices, like what we see in communist countries, where Marxism lives, where single parties rule. In America, we have the building blocks of a one party system supported by a super structure of censorship; I would say it’s systemic censorship, institutional censorship. Here’s the math: One party system + institutional censorship = controlling the population. Why? Well those who run the institutions like big media, big tech, education systems, coupled with one ruling party allows for those in charge to exponentially increase their net worth and power. And, make no mistake, this is what it comes down to. Big tech has partnered with one political party to stamp out half of America’s voices. Why? Well, I get asked that alot. What I can surmise is, if they simply don’t like your personality, you will be censored. If they don’t like that you want open dialog on a topic that goes against their point of view, you will be censored.

Our First Amendment states we will have free speech; it’s a fundamental right as Americans. It’s no secret that immigrants from socialist countries are fighting to keep free speech free, fighting to keep socialism and communism out. We should heed their warning and listen with openness and impunity.

Like institutional racism, institutional censorship is born from the same birth canal: Liberalism. Liberals control the narrative, control big media, big tech, education, etc. It stands to reason that the founders of institutional racism and are the founders of institutional censorship. What I ask of my friends is to sit quietly and think about it, and with resistance and disbelief, they come to the same conclusion.

When censorship is applied, it snuffs creativity and collaboration. Those who applaud and nurture censorship live in a narrow vacuum and only hear the messaging from those they worship. The US is a melting pot and at present, we have a political party who wants unfettered control of content, messaging, votes, income, and the list goes on. And, those at the top are the ones who benefit most because they control the hearts and minds……of at least half of the population and will stop at nothing to control media, access, content, and most of all our freedoms.

My hope is that this POV differs from others in an open way so we can continue to more broad conversation around diversity and inclusion, especially with free speech.

Peace
